Ever since I read
Neuromancer in High School I remain fascinated by cyberpunk themes and motifs. There is a resurgence in the genre, but it is often regarded as tired. Today I was captivated by the HAL-like Watson challenging humans on the Jeopardy game show. Do we stand a chance? I wonder what will happen when the us vs them mentality ends and people just stick the computers in their heads and call it even.
