Ylla Final Painting

This is the final painting for the Martian Chronicles story "Ylla." It's about 4"h x 71/4w" painted in acrylic in my sketchbook. I think this is a good format for keeping on track to finish all the chapters in a timely fashion. On to the next one!

Hello, I came across your blog when I was searching illustrations for Bradbury, The Martian Chronicles specifically. I'm working on the same project, and its interesting to see other's interpretation, cool stuff! Check out mine if you want, progress is slow and I'm not very far yet, but have my head full of ideas, I am totally consumed by his book right now, and have been for quite a while.

Hey Green Morning!

Very cool. This has always been one of my favorite collections of stories...sort of a novel though if you think about it since there is a narrative that courses through the chapters to the end.

I also very much like "R is for Rocket," another collection of stories. There's just too much good stuff to tackle!!
